Since its establishment in July 1993 in Zimbabwe, the COMESA Federation of Women in Business (COMFWB Zimbabwe Chapter) has been driving economic inclusion and business opportunities for Zimbabwean women. As part of the broader COMFWB network spanning 21 countries, the Zimbabwe Chapter supports women in starting and growing businesses, providing market access, and building strong entrepreneurial communities.

The Chapter supports 21 business sectors, from agriculture and mining to ICT, tourism, manufacturing and fashion design; giving members a broad platform to thrive in diverse industries.

A standout initiative is Empowered Women Excel SACCO, a savings and credit cooperative designed to strengthen financial capabilities for women across the country. This SACCO exemplifies how COMFWB Zimbabwe isn’t just teaching entrepreneurship; it’s building financial independence.
By nurturing skills and fostering networks, COMFWB Zimbabwe helps women convert ambition into sustainable enterprise growth.
Networking and Regional Trade Linkages Creating a dynamic platform for Zimbabwean women entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and access regional and international markets through COMESA networks, trade fairs, and business forums.
