In recent years, COMFWB Zimbabwe has stepped up its advocacy and outreach efforts, expanding beyond Harare to empower women entrepreneurs across Zimbabwe’s provinces.
🗣️ Expansion in Bulawayo; A Milestone for Women’s Economic Networks
In July 2025, the Chapter officially launched its expansion into Bulawayo, one of Zimbabwe’s major economic hubs. This strategic move included a Women’s Breakfast event that brought together entrepreneurs, mentors and stakeholders; providing invaluable networking and learning opportunities.
🤝 Boosting Trade Ties with International Partners
COMFWB Zimbabwe has also partnered with organisations such as the Zim-UK Business Chamber to host trade indabas that promote investment and market linkages with countries such as the United Kingdom; fostering international business opportunities for Zimbabwean women.

Across its activities, COMFWB Zimbabwe champions a more inclusive business environment, advocating for policies that remove barriers and enhance women’s participation in formal trade and development sectors.
Networking and Regional Trade Linkages Creating a dynamic platform for Zimbabwean women entrepreneurs to connect, collaborate, and access regional and international markets through COMESA networks, trade fairs, and business forums. The Chapter fosters meaningful partnerships that enhance cross-border trade and business growth.
Economic Empowerment and Inclusive Impact Championing women’s economic participation in Zimbabwe by supporting women-led enterprises across diverse sectors. COMFWB Zimbabwe promotes inclusive growth, financial independence, and initiatives that uplift communities while contributing to national and regional economic development.
